Job DescriptionJob Description Job Description Accounting Clerk Reports t0 Controller Status Full time, non-exempt Pay $21-$22/hr ++ Summary The Accounting Clerk is responsible for accurately processing invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors, maintaining financial records, and assisting with other accounting functions as needed. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring the company's financial obligations are met. Primary Duties Receive, review, and verify invoices and check requests. Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents. Enter and upload invoices into the accounting system. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues Maintain vendor files and ensure accurate W-9 information is on file. Assist with month-end closing and provide supporting documentation for audits. Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Assist with other accounting duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred. 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite). Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently. Good communication and organizational skills. Physical Requirements/Work Environment Ability to move through facility and up and down stairs Ability to lift 15 lbs. #
