- we're an independently-owned, mission-driven crew working to eliminate single-use waste and inspire people to bring their own. As our Accounting Manager , you'll be the hands-on financial engine that keeps Klean running. Reporting directly to the CFO at Think Better Group, you're the "doer"
- the person who owns the books, manages our banking relationships, builds the annual budget, coordinates tax reporting, and makes sure every number is right.

You work independently, take initiative, and bring solutions- not just problems What You Bring Knowledge & Skills Strong working knowledge of GAAP and business financial principles Mastery of Excel and excellent spreadsheet and modeling skills Excellent written and oral communication skills, including with external banking partners Proven analytical, research, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or CPA designation (preferred) Experience 3-5 years of relevant, high-level accounting management experience (preferred) Demonstrated experience managing bank relationships and preparing borrowing base certificates (preferred) Experience leading an annual budget process (preferred) Experience coordinating with outside tax preparers and sales tax vendors (preferred) SAGE experience (preferred) Tools You'll Use Desktop PC/laptop, standard office equipment (printers, fax, copiers) SAGE ERP, Banking Platforms, Microsoft Office Suite Work Environment Based onsite (some hybrid ok) in Chico, CA•candidates must reside in Chico or the surrounding area Standard office or cubicle environment Requires sitting for long periods and regular computer use Occasional bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
