Accounting Manager - Project Accounting & CTC

Micro-Cap Solutions is conducting a confidential search for an Accounting Manager on behalf of a growing industrial manufacturing and fabrication organization supporting a newly established operation. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the full accounting function for a fast-growing facility, including financial reporting, job costing, inventory accounting, month-end close, and operational financial support. The position partners closely with operations, project management, purchasing, and executive leadership to provide visibility into project performance and overall financial health. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or project-based accounting environments and possess a deep understanding of cost-to-complete accounting, inventory controls, WIP accounting, and operational finance. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day accounting operations for the facility Manage AP/AR, general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close Oversee project cost accounting and cost-to-complete schedules Support manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, and WIP controls Partner with operations and project teams on budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis Prepare financial statements, reporting packages, and variance analysis Support ERP optimization and process improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls Ideal Background Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 5+ years of accounting experience within manufacturing, construction, industrial, fabrication, or project-based environments Strong experience with job costing, inventory accounting, and percentage-of-completion accounting Experience supporting operational leadership with financial analysis and reporting ERP system proficiency and advanced Excel skills preferred Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing operation in a visible leadership role with significant exposure to executive leadership and operational decision-making.

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
