Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant 📍 Bardstown, KY Area (Onsite) 💲 $85K-$100K + Benefits + 3 Weeks PTO 🏭 Global Manufacturing Company About the Opportunity gpac is seeking an Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant for a stable and growing global manufacturing company in the Bardstown, KY area. This is a high-visibility accounting leadership role responsible for overseeing financial operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and overall financial performance within a manufacturing environment. The company is seeking a hands-on accounting professional who can lead day-to-day accounting functions while partnering with leadership to support operational and financial goals. Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations including A/P, A/R, GL, reconciliations, revenue recognition, and financial reporting
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting
• Support inventory and cost accounting functions within manufacturing operations
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, audits, taxes, and internal controls
• Analyze financial performance and identify cost-reduction opportunities
• Supervise accounting staff and support process improvements
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams
• Assist with cash management, forecasting, and financial planning Qualifications
• 5+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• CPA designation preferred
• Experience with ERP systems required; D365 experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills Why This Role?
