Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs an Accounting Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. In this role, you will impact the organization by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, which is essential for informed decision-making and strategic planning. Your attention to detail and expertise in accounting will help maintain compliance with financial regulations and contribute to the overall financial stability and success of the company. Key Responsibilities Process invoices and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements Assist in monthend and yearend closing processes Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
5 years of experience in accounting in billing and accounts receivable roles. Strong understanding of billing processes and accounting principles. Familiarity with Government contracts. Experience in working in SAP. Intermediate Excel skills such as pivot tables, sum, ifs, vlookups Ability to work independently and have attention to detail. Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.WE VALUE
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Ability to build relationships (internal and USG customer). Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Audit experience or exposure. Experience in a fast-paced billing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to learn quickly.Salary Range:
$67,800 - $84,900 (San Jose, CA). Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL
