Accounts Payable Accountant

General Function:

The Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant is responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and other payables in compliance with hospital policies and accounting standards. This position ensures the accuracy and timeliness of payments while maintaining strong internal controls and supporting the overall financial health of the hospital.

Qualifications:

Education:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.

Experience:

2-4 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of

Microsoft Excel Knowledge:

Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Familiarity with healthcare accounting and vendor payment processes.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
