Accounts Payable Clerk Monday•Friday 8 AM to 5 PM Pays $20•23 per hour to start

Responsibilities:

Perform accounts payables and support the accounting and administrative functions of the company. Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts Creates invoices according to company practices. Submit invoices to customers. Maintains and updates customer files. Draft correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections. Identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment. Creates reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested. Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts. Collaborates with the Controller to reconcile accounts receivable periodically. Assists in generating monthly billing statements

Qualifications:

Proficient in accounting principles and accounts payable processes. Strong understanding of financial concepts and double-entry bookkeeping. Experience with accounting software. Familiarity with payroll management and data entry. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Please call 860-773-0059 for an immediate interview
