Job Description
Vaco is working with a global and reputable organization seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee AP operations, expense reporting, payment processes, and offshore team management. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys process improvement, driving compliance, and building efficient workflows. Why Join? Opportunity to lead and improve AP operations in a growing organization High visibility role with exposure to leadership and cross-functional teams Collaborative environment with process improvement and automation initiatives Chance to mentor and develop offshore team members Responsibilities Manage, mentor, and develop an offshore team of 3 AP Specialists Oversee accounts payable and expense reporting processes Monitor invoice and expense approval workflows to ensure compliance Manage weekly disbursements and corporate credit card administration Oversee non-AR cash receipts, client refund requests, 1099 reporting, and escheatment filings Establish and track KPIs for AP, expense reporting, and payment processes Build and maintain AP dashboards and reporting metrics Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation Partner cross-functionally on annual initiatives, system improvements, and special projects Support software implementations and process optimization efforts Qualifications 2-5 years of Accounts Payable supervisory or management experience Experience managing outsourced or offshore processes preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Certification in Bookkeeping or Accounts Payable is a plus Strong systems experience including Excel, Smartsheet, Deltek ERP, and Concur Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
