Job Description

Washington County Regional Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk to join our Fiscal Services team. This role plays a vital part in supporting the financial health of our organization by ensuring accurate vendor payments and timely employee payroll processing. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable:
Review and process vendor invoices accurately and timely Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation Prepare and distribute payments, including checks and electronic payments Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries Reconcile accounts and assist with financial reporting
Payroll:
Process payroll and verify employee timekeeping records Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions Maintain payroll records and assist with audits and reporting Respond to employee payroll-related questions Support compliance with payroll laws and regulations What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines High level of integrity and confidentiality Effective communication and problem-solving skills Team player with a positive, professional attitude Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable, payroll, or related field required Healthcare experience preferred but not required Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting/payroll systems preferred Benefits We offer a competitive benefits package designed to support you and your family, which may include: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Retirement Plan Life and Disability Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Why Join Us?
