Job Description

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with construction industry experience to support high-volume AP operations. This role is responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and construction-specific requirements. Key Responsibilities Process high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently Review, code, and match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation Handle construction-specific AP requirements, including subcontractor invoices, lien waivers, and compliance documentation Verify invoice accuracy, pricing, and approvals prior to payment Manage weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain accurate AP records and support month-end close activities Communicate professionally with vendors, project managers, and internal stakeholders Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls Assist with audits and provide AP documentation as requested Required Qualifications 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience Prior experience in the construction industry required Strong understanding of 3-way matching and job cost coding Experience working with subcontractors and construction vendors Proficiency with accounting or ERP systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with construction accounting software Familiarity with lien waivers, insurance certificates, and compliance tracking Intermediate Excel skills Work Environment & Schedule Located in Corona , fully onsite role Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience- $25-$30/hr Benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, PTO, and holidays
Pay Details:
