Accounts Payable Specialist Salary:

$55,000-$62,500/year We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor communications. Key Responsibilities:

Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently as an Accounts Payable Specialist Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts Ensure proper coding and approval of invoices in accordance with company policies Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Communicate with vendors and internal departments to address payment inquiries Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role or similar position Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

Preferred Skills:

Experience working as an Accounts Payable Specialist in a high-volume environment Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
