Our top client is in need of a strong construction accounting/accounts payable specialist for their growing firm! Responsibilities of construction accounts payable Processing accounts payable full cycle Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors Analyzing workflow processes Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures Processing due invoices for payments Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts Requirements for Construction accounts payable experience in full cycle accounts payable for construction Sage, Foundation or HH2 helpful Understanding of GAAP Prior accounting experience in construction is preferred Degree in Accounting, Finance, or comparable degree is preferred Experience using Viewpoint preferred 2 - 7 years total experience with construction related Why work here: growing firm that has been stable and around a long time with excellent growth paying above and beyond for the right candidate up to 85k #civ123
