The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in various financial software applications. Duties Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely. Maintain general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft for data entry and financial reporting. Perform analysis of financial data to identify discrepancies and assist in resolving issues. Prepare reports on accounts payable/receivable status for management review. Assist with tax-related documentation and compliance as needed. Support public accounting functions and governmental accounting requirements when applicable. Skills Preferred an experience in automotive accounting software. Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation. Familiarity with automotive accounting. Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy (10 key typing). Strong analytical skills to assess financial information effectively. Experience in account reconciliation processes and journal entries. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
