Accounts Receivable Clerk

Accounts Receivable & Billing Clerk Location:

In office full time Description Our company is in search of a skilled and reliable Accounts Receivable and Billing Clerk to join our service department team. The potential candidate will ensure accuracy and efficiency of billing operations that include generating invoices, processing incoming payments, and monitoring past-due accounts. This person should be detailed-oriented, a team player and possess excellent communication skills to keep us on good terms with our valued clientele. Responsibilities Generating all invoices and submitting them to the various client portals. Perform AR procedures including creating invoices, resolving billing inconsistencies, and identifying overdue accounts. Record payments in our specialized cloud-based roofing business management system. Submit invoices through multiple automated billing platforms as required by customers. Monitor accounts receivables and minimize outstanding A/R balance by ensuring the timely collection of payments. Provide detailed aging reports to managers. Respond to customer complaints efficiently and apply problem-solving strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications Required:

Moderate experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping or any other related field. Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Capable of handling a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

Knowledge of commercial roofing systems. Experience with AIA billing applications. Fluent in English/Spanish.
