Position Summary Teachers at Diamond Minds Transitional Learning Academy are known as Achievement Coordinators . In this role, you will support preschool and school-age students with developmental disabilities through individualized instruction, classroom support, behavioral interventions, and collaboration with therapists and families. Achievement Coordinators work within a transdisciplinary team to help students reach their fullest potential in a safe, nurturing, and structured educational environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct student assessments and maintain accurate progress documentation Assist with IEP preparation, goals, benchmarks, and classroom implementation Develop and implement individualized educational objectives and lesson plans Collaborate with therapists, classroom assistants, and families regarding student progress and support strategies Maintain ongoing communication with parents regarding student achievements, concerns, and classroom activities Implement behavioral support plans and individualized interventions Support student development in cognition, language, motor skills, socialization, and self-help skills Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment Participate in meetings, trainings, and school events Complete report cards, progress reports, and required documentation in a timely manner Organize educational and sensory-based activities and field trips Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Education required Florida Teacher Certification in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) required or currently in process with a Letter of Eligibility Experience working with preschool children or children with special needs preferred Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills Ability to bend, kneel, lift, and support children weighing up to 40 lbs.
