Activity Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and implementing activities and programs for residents
• Provide support and guidance to residents in addressing aging issues and concerns
• Coordinate and manage the activity schedule for residents
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive and engaging environment for residents
• Document and maintain records of resident participation in activities

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of aging issues and counseling techniques
• Ability to effectively manage schedules and coordinate activities
• Experience in social work or a related field is preferred
