Activities Director

Brookside Senior Living, a Cassia community, is hiring an Activities Director to join our team! At Brookside Senior Living , you'll work in a supportive, team-oriented environment where your skills are valued, and your contributions make a meaningful difference for our residents. This is a great opportunity to grow in a healthcare setting. In addition to great benefits, we are offering up to at $1,500 Bonus! In this important role, you will manage a team of activity professionals, plan, and conduct fun and exciting activities for our residents. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a genuine concern for our residents' well-being and has a creative personality and positive attitude.

Position Type:

Part-Time or Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule including some weekends

Wage Range:

$21 - $26 /hour depending on experience

Activities Director Responsibilities:

Create and schedule Activities calendar for residents and administer these activities. Promote physical exercise, social interaction, emotional support and involvement. Prepare monthly newsletter for residents and family members. Oversee Activities Assistants. Perform additional tasks as needed.

Activities Director Qualifications:

One year of Activities experience. Is compassionate, motivated, and a self-starter. Desire to work with seniors in an assisted living setting. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to meet physical requirements of the job. Functional knowledge of computer hardware and software. Ability to respect confidentiality of resident information. Ability to manage diverse individuals and multiple priorities at once.
