Direct Supervisor:

K-12 Associate Principal Establishes and communicates a vision for LCSD athletics, activities, and fine arts and monitors program effectiveness Administers programs for athletics, activities, fine arts Promotes participation in LCSD athletics and activities Hires, supervises, and evaluates coaches, athletic/activities support staff, and sponsors of LCSD athletics, activities, and fine arts programs Attends monthly Lisbon Pride Booster Club meetings Communicates budget information and business dept procedures to coaches and sponsors; oversees adherence to these procedures Establishes and nurtures partnerships with community organizations, youth programs, and community facilities Schedules, supervises and coordinates supervision for all activities and events Pursues sponsorships, grants, and fundraising to support Lisbon activities Maintains and updates a public activity and special event calendar Arranges transportation for athletic events Secures officials for athletic events Responsible for inventory and care of all equipment Creates and/or maintains a Coach's Handbook Communicates events and programming with the students, staff, and community Coordinates state-level events when acting as host school Coordinates all school assemblies in regards to student activities Oversees LCSD facilities usage and building maintenance Coordinates product inventory and pricing for concession stand Coordinates volunteers for event gate admissions, setup, and concessions Coordinates essential gameday volunteers/workers The successful candidate must be willing to put in the appropriate hours necessary to ensure that we continue offering premier programming for our Lisbon students. This is a demanding and important job that requires leadership, comprehensive organizational skills, ethical behavior, quality supervision, active support for coaches and students, and a vision for the future. This is a stand alone position. Due to the comprehensive responsibilities of this role, there will be some flexibility of hours during the traditional work/school day.
