The Activity Aide will assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and social activities for residents to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities Assist in the development and implementation of daily activity programs tailored to residents' interests and abilities. Engage residents in group and individual activities such as games, crafts, music, and exercise. Provide support and encouragement to residents to participate in activities and socialize. Help set up and clean up activity areas and materials. Monitor residents during activities to ensure safety and well-being. Document resident participation and report any changes in behavior or health to supervisory staff. Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall activity program. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working with seniors or in a recreational setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to motivate and engage individuals of varying abilities. Reliable, patient, and compassionate demeanor. Basic computer skills are a plus. Work Environment This position involves working in a community or healthcare setting with seniors or individuals requiring assistance.
