Activity Aide - Part-Time

Job description Our Activity Department is expanding! Fair Oaks Health Care Center is on the lookout for an energetic, social, fun-filled, organized individual. The hours for this position would every other weekend 3:30pm to 7:30 pm and Thursday evenings from 3:30pm to 7:30pm with the option to pick up extra shifts when available. Let us show you a day in the life of our Activity Aide Greet and welcome all residents with enthusiasm; Carryout daily activities noted on monthly calendar; Independently complete activity department assessments; Constant assessment of unsafe situations and responding appropriately in a timely manner. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong desire to work with the elderly; Ability to remain upbeat and positive when in difficult situations; Ability to physically lift/move up to 30 lbs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in long-term care setting
