Summary of Schedule 15-hours per week mainly PM Shift

• 4:30pm-7:30pm and 5:30pm-7:30pm Every other weekend (Saturday 8:30am-2:30pm and Sunday 12:30pm-2:30pm)

• CNA or Non-CNA Overview We are seeking a dedicated Activity Assistant to join our team and enhance the quality of life for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and creating engaging activities to promote physical and mental well-being. Responsibilities
• Plan, organize, and lead daily activities for residents in accordance with their individual care plans
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed and within scope of practice/certification.
• Coordinate and facilitate social events, outings, and group activities
• Provide support for residents with dementia through specialized care techniques
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure residents' needs are met effectively
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members Qualifications
• Experience in social work, senior care, or caregiving is preferred
• Knowledge of event planning and scheduling management
• Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus
• Ability to work in nursing home or home community care settings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
