Activity Director

Job Overview Maplecrest is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and organized Activity Director to lead and coordinate engaging recreational and therapeutic programs for our residents. The ideal candidate will create meaningful activities that promote physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive activities program for SNF residents. Plan daily, weekly, and monthly activity calendars tailored to resident interests and abilities. Conduct resident assessments and document participation and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate group activities, community outings, special events, and holiday celebrations. Encourage resident participation and enhance quality of life through individualized engagement. Supervise activity staff and volunteers. Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and department budget. Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social services, and dietary departments to support resident-centered care. Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and facility guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing activities required. Activity Director Certification and/or COTA Preferred Knowledge of dementia programming and resident engagement strategies. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
