Activity Director - Full Time - $20 to $25/hr

Edenbrook Omro is a skilled nursing facility located in Omro, Wisconsin, as a part of the Eden Senior Care network. We are seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Activity Director to join our team! This position plays a vital role in enhancing the daily lives of our residents through engaging activities, events, and meaningful social interaction. Why work at Edenbrook Omro? $20-$25 per hour Full-time stable schedule Daytime hours Creative and rewarding work environment Health, Dental and Vision benefits PTO and Holiday pay 401(k) with company match Supportive team environment What You'll Do Plan and lead engaging daily activities and special events for residents Develop programs that meet the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of residents Escort residents to and from activities as needed Provide one-on-one activities for residents unable to attend group programs Create and post monthly activity calendars Coordinate holiday events, community outings, and entertainment Maintain attendance and behavioral documentation Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and volunteers Assist with decorating and preparing for events and celebrations What We're Looking For You are destined to succeed in this position if you: Enjoy working with seniors and creating meaningful experiences Are creative, organized, and dependable Have strong communication and customer service skills Can multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Bring positive energy and enthusiasm to the workplace Requirements Previous activity, recreation, life enrichment, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred Experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia preferred Ability to organize and lead group activities Ability to supervise volunteers and work independently Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks Benefits Depending on employment status, candidates who join Edenbrook Omro can expect competitive wages and the following benefits package.
