Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy and partnering with the CNO, medical staff, and Quality leadership, the Acute Care Pharmacy Manager leads pharmacists and technicians while collaborating closely with friendly nurses and a diverse team including respiratory therapy, case management, rehab specialists, and social work; as an Inpatient Pharmacy Manager, key responsibilities include clinical rounding, antimicrobial stewardship participation, policy and formulary management, USP cleanroom oversight, regulatory readiness, 340B optimization, medication safety initiatives, pharmacy automation and inventory stewardship, staff education, performance reviews, scheduling, and onboarding—empowering a Manager Hospital Pharmacy to drive measurable outcomes across patient safety, throughput, and experience.
