ACV Fielding Support Mlt Systems - 4.4 Camp Pendleton, CA Job Details Full-time 2 hours ago Qualifications Outdoor work High school diploma or GED Driver's License Electrical systems Equipment maintenance Full Job Description MLT Systems is seeking an experienced Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) operator, maintainer, or fielding specialist to support PM AAA fielding operations across the Marine Corps enterprise. This role is ideal for candidates with direct ACV platform experience gained at Camp Lejeune, NC or Camp Pendleton, CA, who can travel from their home station to support fielding events nationwide. The ACV Fielding Support Specialist will execute on‑site fielding, inspections, troubleshooting, documentation, and turnover activities to ensure vehicles are delivered to the Fleet in a fully mission‑ready condition. Candidates located near Camp Lejeune, NC or Camp Pendleton, CA are strongly encouraged to apply. MLT Systems is prepared to hire qualified candidates from these regions and support travel from their home station to all fielding events.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute on‑site ACV fielding actions, including GFE installation, configuration, and functional checks. Conduct Limited Technical Inspections (LTIs), SL‑3 inventories, and readiness assessments. Perform operator/maintainer tasks, including PMCS, basic corrective maintenance, and system checks. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and networked systems faults using TMs and diagnostic tools. Document discrepancies, track vendor turnover paperwork, and maintain chain‑of‑custody records. Coordinate with PM AAA, using units, and facilities to schedule deliveries, turnovers, and acceptance events. Support logistics tasks such as parts accountability, tool control, and maintenance planning. Provide technical feedback to improve TMs, fielding processes, and sustainment documentation.Job Duties:
Fielding & Installation Install GFE kits, armor, comms, and mission equipment per TM and vendor guidance. Configure ACV subsystems and verify operational readiness. Inspections & Inventories Conduct LTIs and SL‑3 inventories with precision and attention to detail. Prepare vehicles for turnover, acceptance, and delivery. Operator/Maintainer Tasks Operate ACV systems during acceptance checks and demonstrations. Perform PMCS and basic corrective maintenance to support fielding timelines. Troubleshooting & Repair Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, and digital systems. Execute on‑site corrective actions or coordinate higher‑level maintenance. Documentation & Turnover Maintain accurate turnover documentation and chain‑of‑custody records. Ensure all fielding documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered on time. Education /Experience:
Minimum:
High school diploma or GED. 5+ years ACV or AAV operator/maintainer experience (required). Demonstrated experience performing LTIs, SL‑3 inventories, and basic maintenance. Hands‑on experience with ACV mechanical, electrical, and systems components.Preferred:
Associate's degree in Mechanical Technology, Logistics, or related field. Former ACV crewman, maintainer, instructor, or fielding support personnel from Camp Lejeune or Camp Pendleton. Prior experience supporting Government fielding programs or PMO operations. Specific /Preferred Requirements:
Secret clearance (possession or ability to obtain). ASE or equivalent maintenance certifications preferred. Forklift, LOTO, or maintenance safety certifications a plus. Proficiency with ACV TMs, troubleshooting procedures, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to travel from home station (Lejeune or Pendleton) to fielding sites nationwide. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail. Effective communicator with PMO, vendors, and Fleet users. Valid driver's license; ability to lift 30 lbs; ability to work outdoors and in field environments.Physical Demands:
