Lead a research group that develops and uses physics-based, numerical models to understand the dynamics of interacting solar and planetary plasmas — "space weather"— and the resulting effects on space technologies and astronauts. Modeling efforts with the development of instruments on NASA spacecrafts and the analysis of the new observations needed to fuel understanding. Duties/Responsibilities (60%) Continue leading NASA Instrumentation and Science Missions. (20%) Continue leading and participating in scientific publications in scientific journals. (20%) Continue to support and supervise mission teams and final graduate student in Physics. Requirements
