School Year Location:
Caribou Community School Caribou Community School is seeking a reliable, organized, and professional School Year Secretary to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year . The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the daily operations of the school while creating a welcoming and positive environment for students, staff, families, and visitors. RSU 39 is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where all students can thrive. We are looking for an individual who values teamwork, professionalism, confidentiality, and strong communication skills. Position Summary The School Year Secretary will provide clerical and administrative support to the school office, assist students, staff, and families, and help ensure the efficient operation of the school building. Key Responsibilities Provide clerical and administrative support for the school office Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist students, staff, and families in a professional and courteous manner Maintain student records, attendance, and other required documentation Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and general office organization Support administrators and staff with daily operational needs Maintain confidentiality of student and personnel information Perform other duties as assigned by administration Qualifications High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred Previous office or school-based experience preferred Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficiency with computers and office software Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to maintaining a positive and supportive school environment How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and application materials to: Ms. Jane McCall, Superintendent of Schools 75 Glenn Street Caribou, ME 04736 Please feel free to share this opportunity with anyone who may be interested.
