Job Description

Flexible Schedule | Approximately 20-30 Hours per Week | Burlington, Washington Louws Truss is seeking a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is part time with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on business needs and performance. This role supports daily office and administrative operations including reception, scheduling, filing, onboarding support, document preparation, data entry, coordination with vendors, communication with employees and customers, and support for recruiting needs in a collaborative manufacturing environment. Responsibilities May Include Answering and directing incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system Greeting visitors, applicants, customers, and vendors in a professional manner Filing, scanning, organizing, and maintaining office and employee records Assisting with onboarding paperwork, applicant communication, and interview scheduling Supporting recruiting and hiring efforts Assisting with company notices, employee packets, and administrative coordination Supporting employee events, training coordination Ordering and maintaining office supplies Assisting with scheduling and communication between office, sales, dispatch, and production teams Assisting with data entry, documentation, and general administrative support Supporting confidential handling of employee and company information Additional administrative and office support duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Excellent phone etiquette skills with experience managing multi-line phone systems Professional and dependable attendance Positive attitude and willingness to learn Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office programs Previous office, administrative, reception, or HR support experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish applicants are encouraged to apply Manufacturing, construction, or industrial office experience is a plus Compensation Starting pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour DOE Benefits eligibility may vary based on employment status and hours worked. Full time employees are eligible for company sponsored benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, referral program, and additional voluntary benefits. Schedule Flexible part time scheduling available averaging approximately 20-30 hours per week. Hours and days may vary depending on operational needs. Training On the job training will be provided. This role offers exposure to office administration, employee support functions, recruiting coordination, manufacturing operations, and HR processes.
