Job Description

Therapeutics is an innovative opioid recovery treatment facility with the vision of enabling clients to live happy, stable lives and return to being productive members of their communities. Our commitment is to help clients achieve recovery through the use of medical, psychosocial and support services. Therapeutics is certified by state, federal and national regulatory bodies and only employs licensed, credentialed professionals. This position has seven primary functions: Working with Counselors and Medical staff to schedule clients for individual and group activities. Completing scheduling projections and reports. Supporting efforts to ensure clients maintain scheduled appointments with doctors, counselors and groups. Coordinating Medication Assisted Treatment for a County Jail client, which includes scheduling and medication delivery. Assembling charts for Doctors and Physician Assistants and ensuring that all signatures are received and charts are updated. Supporting the Billing Organization in the effort to bill Medicaid and private insurance companies for client services. Experience with medical billing software/systems is a plus. On a scheduled basis, performing administrative duties, which includes welcoming clients in a friendly and professional manner and introducing them to our services. Receiving and collecting payments (cash, co-pays, insurance billing information) for services. Working with the insurance team to submit client billing and tracking payments for clients. General office duties including, entering data in customer system, answering phones and producing and editing documents using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Detailed frequent duties include:
Scheduling clients using cloud based scheduling software and Excel Performing front office administrative duties Telephone answering Filing Preparing information for doctors Preparation of billing transactions Report creation and submission using Excel Attending training provided by health organizations and insurance companies. Consistent attendance, which may include scheduled early hours (5:45AM - 12PM core hours for part-time; until 2 PM full-time) Monday-Friday; two Saturdays per month
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Psychology Very strong Microsoft Excel skills Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Understanding of outpatient medical clinic operation preferred Scheduling experience Experience in the medical/psychosocial billing area a plus Reliability is essential - ability to adhere to an early schedule on a consistent basis Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Confidentiality is an absolute requirement Outstanding team player with tremendous flexibility Strong people skills evidenced by the ability to manage demanding customers
