Custom Home Builder Location:
Southeast Michigan Position Type:
Part-Time to Start (20-30 Hours Per Week)

Opportunity to transition into Full-Time as workload increases About Us We are a well-established custom home builder with a team of approximately 10 employees, specializing in high-quality residential construction. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our growing company and help keep office operations running efficiently. Position Summary This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a small business environment where their contributions truly matter. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, tech-savvy, and comfortable managing a variety of office, bookkeeping, and construction-related administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Manage and organize customer files and job records Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping support and office accounting tasks Verify subcontractor insurance certificates, waivers, and required documents prior to invoicing/payment Maintain and organize company files in Dropbox Learn and assist with management of Buildertrend software, including data entry, document retrieval, and updates Prepare sworn statements and assist with bank draw processing Maintain and update employee files and records Assist ownership and project managers with general office support Handle phone calls, emails, and internal communications as needed Qualifications Previous administrative assistant or office experience preferred QuickBooks experience required Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Comfortable learning new software systems Experience with Dropbox, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Professional communication skills and dependable work ethic Construction office experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits Starting Pay:
