Job Description

Administrative Assistant - SERVPRO SERVPRO Middletown/ New Britain is seeking an Administrative Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping people during challenging times. When homes or businesses are impacted by fire, smoke, or water damage, our team steps in to help restore what matters most. In this role, you'll play a key part behind the scenes—supporting our restoration team and providing outstanding service to customers from our office. We're looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and friendly on the phone, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. What We're Looking For A great candidate is someone who: Enjoys helping people recover after unexpected property damage Has excellent phone presence and customer service skills Is highly organized and detail-oriented Can multitask effectively and stay on top of deadlines Is self-motivated and works well both independently and as part of a team Is comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and learning new software Has 2+ years of administrative or office experience Holds a Bachelor's degree Is interested in learning how to write estimates and track restoration jobs from start to finish What You'll Do As a Job File Coordinator, you'll support the office team and help ensure restoration jobs move smoothly from the first call through completion.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing daily administrative tasks to support office operations Coordinating crew and job scheduling Monitoring job file progress and status updates Ensuring client and insurance requirements are followed Reviewing and validating documentation from field teams Creating preliminary job estimates using company software Performing detailed and accurate data entry Assisting other departments as needed Performing other duties and tasks as necessary to support the team and office operations If you enjoy being organized, solving problems, and supporting a team that helps people in difficult situations, this role could be a great fit.
