Job Description

Hunt Forest Resources is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Administrative Assistant to join our Youngsville office. This position plays an important role in helping keep day-to-day office operations running smoothly while supporting our accounting and administrative team. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, professional, comfortable with computers and data entry, and enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment. This is a full-time hourly position reporting directly to the Lead Accountant / Office Manager. Responsibilities Serve as the primary receptionist for the office by answering phones and greeting visitors professionally Manage front office responsibilities and help maintain an organized, welcoming office environment Enter sales, receipts, and other accounting-related data into QuickBooks and Excel Assist with weekly payment-related data entry and reporting Organize and maintain filing systems, records, and accounting documentation Order and maintain office and breakroom supplies Assist with customer follow-up calls, promotions, and general communication Support office scheduling, document preparation, scanning, copying, and mail distribution Assist accounting and administrative staff with daily operational tasks Maintain accurate records and support overall office organization Qualifications Previous office, administrative assistant, receptionist, or accounting support experience preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable with data entry and basic accounting-related tasks Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel QuickBooks experience preferred Strong phone etiquette and communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Friendly, professional attitude with a customer service mindset Position Details Full-time hourly position Monday-Friday schedule Opportunity for long-term growth and increased responsibility We are looking for someone who takes pride in staying organized, helping others, and keeping things running efficiently behind the scenes.
