Job Description

Administrative Assistant Location:
Boston, MA Contract length: 6 months
Schedule:
Hybrid in Boston, MA (WFH Fridays)
Pay:
$31-35.92/hr, DOE The Planet Group is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our well-known retail brand on a roughly 6-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid in Boston, MA, working remotely on Fridays. The nature of the work is focused on providing services which help ensure a safe, healthy, and effective or efficient work environment or providing personal amenities to employees.
Administrative Assistant Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience
Note:
One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 yrs; Masters + 4 yrs; Associates degree + 6 yrs; High School + 7 yrs. Strong communication skills Experience with Outlook email and calendar management Strong Presentation skills Ability to schedule travel for senior leadership High level of professionalism expected
Administrative Assistant Description:
Set up and maintain files Interview callers and make proper referrals Arrange meetings and conferences Receive, refer, or answer mail Review drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures Gather, compile and report on information relevant to supervisor's assignment Prepare expense reports and purchase orders and maintain office supplies Update organizational charts Coordinate department or equipment moves Respond tactfully and promptly to inquiries and problems within scope of established authority Handle confidential information May serve as the central contact for general department information Coordinate a full range of meeting, event, and travel arrangements Manage calendars Work with internal/external contacts Coordinate a full range of meeting, event, and travel arrangements Work with internal/external contacts for venue requirements and selection, room set-up, catering, and materials delivery Utilize the client's on-line reservation system to ensure that travel policy is followed in order to provide cost-effective and convenient travel arrangements Work with travel agents, airlines, and others regarding planning and customer service issues Utilize computer skills to create high quality graphic and text presentations often under tight timeframes Interpret needs, determine and produce effective presentation layout, and organize final documents Prepare special reports requiring the selection of relevant information from a variety of sources
