Job Description

Description This role supports the overall Student Success team in its administrative processes so that student support can happen in a timely, organized manner. Duties and responsibilities 1. (50%) Financial Aid Assistant Maintains and updates scholarship awards in Populi. Develops and maintains financial aid reporting tools. Partners with the Student Success team to respond to student questions. 2. (50%) Student Support and Data Assistant Assists in the development and maintenance of the student knowledgebase and internal documentation of policy and processes. Assists in regular academic reporting and processes. Partners with the Student Success team to maintain student records in Populi and to answer questions about student progress and degree plans. 3. Other responsibilities as determined by supervisor. Requirements Skills Demonstrated skills and experience in administrative effectiveness Demonstrated self-management skills Experience in higher education Qualifications Bachelor's degree; graduate education preferred Relevant experience in educational and consumer technology Experience in working with databases and spreadsheets preferred Strong familiarity and appreciation for seminary's mission, theology, and instruction Attributes Strategic and creative Attentive to detail Strong in team collaboration and communication; elicits trust, confidence, and ambition in team members Flexible, willing to take on new projects that require immediate action Exhibits wisdom, care, and kindness in workplace Working conditions This is a part time, non-exempt position. 15-20 hours distributed throughout the week are expected. This job may be on-campus or hybrid This job requires the ability to operate within repeated tight deadlines, to contribute to public-facing projects that demand attention to detail, and to work with many stakeholders on various projects. This job is also performed on a computer.
