Job Description
This position plays a key role in coordinating meetings, managing budgets, supporting projects and travel, maintaining accessibility compliance, and serving as a liaison between students, faculty, staff, administrators, vendors, and community partners. This is a temporary, 3 month assignment (end of May through end of August)
Compensation:
$25.29 an hourKey Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, correspondence, and administrative operations for the Executive Director and departmental teams.
- Prepare meeting materials, maintain records, track action items, and support project management initiatives.
- Monitor and assist with departmental budgets, purchasing card reconciliations, financial forecasting, and budget revisions.
- Create and maintain accessible documents in compliance with Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Provide administrative support for advising, transition, and student support initiatives across multiple work units.
- Coordinate events, maintain supply inventories, and support staff training and travel logistics.
- Serve as a liaison with students, faculty, administrators, government agencies, vendors, and external partners.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee, student, and departmental information.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional administrative, operations, or office management experience.
- Strong administrative, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with budget management, scheduling, project coordination, and office operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Workday, and other administrative software systems.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, college policies, and administrative procedures preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
