Job Description
The Administrative Coordinator functions as a supportive role to the business office and human resources department and is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of these departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete monthly family billing in timely and accurate manner. Complete assigned accounts payable and receivable functions. Administer resident "chore and allowance" while ensuring that the system is operating smoothly and efficiently to pay residents proper amounts each week. Share responsibility for employee payroll and ensure that it is done accurately and in a manner that meets all deadlines. Collaborate with the Human Resources manager on coordination of the on-boarding and off-boarding process. Assists with administering health and welfare plans including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Complete employment verifications as assigned. Assist with managing employee information, personnel files, I-9 documentation, background checks, and driving records. Provide support for all administrative needs. Acts as Board of Trustees Clerk and attends quarterly Board Meeting and other Board committees as requested. Serve on one holiday committee per year (a rotation) for which +8 hours of holiday pay are earned. Serve as a mentor to 1-2 residents within the Spring Lake Ranch community. Other duties as requested.COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates an understanding and commitment to the SLR Mission, Vision and Core Values. Represent Spring Lake Ranch professionally and positively to others including: families, doctors, therapists, vendors, other providers, employers, volunteer contacts, friends, interns, volunteers, visitors, candidates, the general public, etc. Maintain respectful, therapeutic, and supportive relationships with Spring Lake Ranch residents and clients at all times. Maintain resident/client privacy by keeping personal information confidential in accordance with federal HIPAA legislation and Spring Lake Ranch policies and procedures. Willing to draw upon own personal talents, interests, and passions to develop special programming for the community and develop relationship with individuals. Participate in holidays and other Ranch special events throughout the year. Attend staff and department meetings and staff development opportunities, meeting the licensing training requirements for position.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant field or relevant work experience. 2 years of previous bookkeeping, accounting, and financial management experience. General understanding of human resources principles, practices and procedures. Knowledge of financial management and accounting software is required. Experience with QuickBooks preferred. Strong organidzational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to prioritize standing tasks with immediate tasks. Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and experience in offering support in such. Proven ability to communicate effectively and work within a team. Position will entail physical work consisting of moderate (40 lbs.) lifting, carrying, etc. This position consists of combination of sitting standing, and walking. Must have driver's license and clean driving recor.BENEFITS
