Job Description
Who We Are A leading mental health practice serving adults and teens with offices in Manasquan, Brick, and Shrewbury New Jersey. We offer a wide range of therapeutic services, including individual counseling, grief counseling, couples therapy, and specialized treatment for depression and anxiety. Our experienced team of over a dozen highly qualified therapists is committed to helping clients navigate life's challenges and achieve emotional well-being. In addition to traditional therapy, we provide medication management for teens and adults, as well as group therapy options such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for teens and grief recovery groups for adults. We offer both in-person and telehealth appointments to ensure flexible, accessible care tailored to your needs. Who You Are The Administrative Support Specialist provides operational, logistical and administrative support to the Monmouth Integrative Counseling Services team and overall practice. The Administrative Support Specialist answers the phones, schedules appointments, confirms insurance and engages with clients. What You'll Do Manage incoming referrals and calls. Manage first time scheduling of clients in EHR system. Assess and schedule clients with the appropriate therapist based on client and provider preferences. Schedule appointments. Insurance preauthorization and billing. Resolve insurance claim issues. Client billing/invoicing. Manage records requests. Sort mail. Complete insurance and other audits. Manage attendance and scheduling for wellness program. Support Business Administrator with Marketing and Managing community outreach program and events. Assist with bookkeeping and budgeting operations. Support payroll operations. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Clinical Director. What You Bring Minimum of 2 years administrative experience, preferably in a mental health practice or other healthcare facility. Energetic and proactive with a "can do" attitude. Proficient with Microsoft office, experience with electronic health record (EHR) system preferred. Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to multi-task and manage scheduling all new clients. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and always use discretion. What We Offer Part-time, on-site in Shrewbury, NJ.
Hourly range:
