Assistant Business Manager at University of Arkansas - Fayetteville in Fayetteville, Arkansas, United States Job Description
Summary of Job Duties:
The Assistant Business Manager collaborates with the Director and Business Manager for preparing financial records and supporting documents for audit purposes. The Assistant Business Manager oversees the field services unit consisting of the patrol and communications sections of the department. This includes responsibility for fiscal, personnel, operations, and planning issues in each area. Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in business administration, general business, public administration or related field; plus three years of progressively more responsible experience in business management or a related field. Preferred Qualifications
  • At least two years' experience in campus parking operations, personnel supervision, planning, and budgeting Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of university and state business operations, practices, and techniques
  • Knowledge of business management, accounting, and fiscal reporting
  • Knowledge of budgetary planning development and administration
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate business activities
  • Ability to prepare detailed written reports
  • Ability to develop program goals, objectives, and policies
