We are currently hiring for a Director, Employment Services to join our team of professionals. As a lead, r you will embody our values of excellence, integrity and accountability while modeling a one-team approach to person- centered services. You will work in concert with the Sr. Director of Employment Services to implement department objectives by supervising Program Managers performance, overseeing client service delivery and case management functions, marketing services to clients, referral sources and employers and representing The ARC of San Diego in the community. This position may be asked to assist in procuring and maintaining service contracts designed to provide community based employment opportunities for persons with developmental disabilities.

San Diego Pay:
The pay for this position is $85,000 to $100,000.
Schedule:
Monday- Friday 8-5. Schedule can vary to meet program needs- This position oversees departments that have components that operate 7 days/wk.
Who you are:
A hands on leader with a passion for providing meaningful days for staff and individuals receiving services Take pride in demonstrating person centered approaches and accountability in an inclusion team A strong advocate with active observation skills for the rights and best interest of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities A typical day will include: Supervise, hiring, training and performance of Employment Services staff and volunteers Maintaining standards as a quality choice provider Managing experienced, independent staff throughout San Diego county Engaging community partners and expanding awareness of programs Design and implements quality employment services for people with disabilities Ensures appropriate employment services are available for participants Supervises any employer of business contracts including pricing and employer relations needed to provide participants with employment services What you'll need to be successful: Bachelor's Degree in related field required. Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health Business Administration or related field strangely desired. 3-5 years of experience in managing programs and services for adults with disabilities in an employment or rehabilitation setting required. Previous work experience at Director Level in multifaceted service delivery preferred. Personnel management experience with demonstrated ability to engage staff in service and process improvement, staff development, training and supervision required.
