Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Coordinator to join our team at the Wellington Senior Resource Center! In this vital role, you will serve as the central hub of office operations, ensuring seamless communication, efficient scheduling, and exceptional Senior Board and member support. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a productive environment and support the overall success of our organization. This contract paid position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, office management experience, and a passion for helping our Senior program grow and seek funding. Duties Manage front desk operations, greeting members and directing inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm Answering calls promptly and returning calls using excellent phone etiquette Organize files to ensure smooth daily operations Support bookkeeping tasks including invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks or similar software Assist with office management duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and overseeing general administrative tasks Provide exceptional customer service to our Senior program members by addressing member needs efficiently and courteously in person or via phone or email Requirements Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with strong clerical skills Proficiency in computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with basic bookkeeping is highly desirable Basic grant writing experience preferred Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills Prior experience as a receptionist or administrative style position Knowledge of multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, filing procedures, data entry, proofreading Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work independently and on a team with Senior Board members Join us as a Coordinator and become an integral part of local Senior Center group dedicated to excellence!
