Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Supervises and directs the business affairs and provides direct management to the food service operations of a Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) facility. Provides direct supervision to Food Service Operations Manager. Evaluates employee performance; makes recommendations for needed personnel action including discipline. Conducts hiring and interview process. Coordinates with ACA Coordinator to ensure daily compliance with ACA standards. Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations i.e. safety sanitation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National School Lunch Program (NSLP), etc. Responsible for determining facility needs, budgetary compliance, developing Request for Quote Scope of Work and obtaining quotes, affidavits, and vendor registrations in compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and best practices and forwards for processing. Monitors expenditures and COT reports to ensure correct charges to facility budget. Requests corrections. Schedule Services. Responsible for ensuring invoices are received within 30 days, services, audited for the correct services, amounts, and sales tax, and entered into Emars utilizing the correct template and fund. Responsible for Procard payments within policy and submission of approvals and receipts in the online bank systems within deadline. Attends department meetings, institutional meetings and trainings as required. Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, public administration or a related field.

Two years of professional accounting, business administration, public administration, or related experience. Substitute
