Bradley Hills Village Administrator

Bradley Hills Village (BHV), a volunteer-driven non-profit in Bethesda, MD, serving over 100 households and 160 members, seeks to hire a high-energy individual with strong organizational skills to serve as a part-time administrator and as the only paid person. An intergenerational organization of neighbors helping neighbors offers social, educational, and recreational activities to encourage social engagement for people as they age in neighborhoods they love and provides limited services, especially rides, as needed. The Village Administrator has a flexible schedule, working on average 16 hours per week, most of which can be completed remotely except for a monthly board face-to-face board meeting, and selected events quarterly. The Village Administrator is responsible for the smooth operation of the Village by coordinating activities with member committees and communicating with members directly, principally through the BHV website for which the Administrator is the webmaster of its functions and content. The Administrator produces a monthly electronic newsletter, organizes the Events Team monthly to produce a rich array of activities to market to members, and interfaces with other Village leaders, especially those in Montgomery County, which is why we are looking for someone located in the Washington, DC metro area near our Village in Bethesda, MD.
