Administration Manager - Saint Paul

Come join our team! The City of Saint Paul Department of Public Works is hiring an Administration Manager. This is an opportunity to provide leadership and direction for work that directly impacts residents while supporting the delivery of essential services. This role is responsible for strategic planning and departmental oversight, guiding implementation and evaluation of operations. The Administration Manager directs the development and alignment of financial and budget strategies while overseeing Technology Services. Performs expert-level professional and managerial work in planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating the activities of the Public Works department. Oversees Technology Services, ensuring effective and reliable support of departmental operations. Establishes, develops, and evaluates departmental finance and budget strategies, including restructuring and realigning funding sources and uses. Assists the Director in developing departmental budget and finance plans. Represents the department before the City Council, the State Legislature, state and federal organizations, and various other groups and agencies.
