Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Administrator/Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for coordinating all grants applications and funding for United Medical Centers. Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and monitoring activities of assigned projects to ensure that goals and objectives specified in the projects are accomplished in accordance with prescribed priorities, time frames, and funding conditions. Function as liaison with governmental entities as it relates to grants administration. Assists the Administrator/CEO in the overall planning and administration of United Medical Centers long and short-range goals and objectives and needs (i.e. Strategic Planning), in conjunction with the Chief Financial Officer and Department Directors. Assists in assurance compliance with the various regulations affecting United Medical Centers such as State/Federal regulations, JCAHO standards and Compliance Standards. Requirements:
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in finance, public administration, or business administration preferred.
EXPERIENCE/ TRAINING
Two (2) or more years' experience in Grant Development and administration preferred. At least two (2) to three (3) years management experience, preferable in an ambulatory health care setting. Computer literate. Knowledge in grant budget preparation. Understanding of government regulations that impact the functions of the program and familiarity with government funded agencies.
