Job Summary Job Summary:
The Office of Research Information Systems (ORIS) is seeking a Business Systems Analysis Manager to lead a small team of Technical Business Analysts responsible for supporting and enhancing enterprise applications, including PeopleSoft, Gideon Taylor, and other Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) and Grants & Contracts Accounting (GCA) web applications. This is a hands-on leadership role in which the manager will both supervise staff and directly perform business analysis work, including eliciting and documenting requirements, creating process flows and other analysis artifacts, defining acceptance criteria, and supporting the delivery of effective technical solutions. The Business Systems Analysis Manager will partner closely with stakeholders, leadership, and development teams to ensure business needs are translated into solutions that align with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and best practices. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, along with experience in financial and/or research administration systems and the ability to support a small team while contributing directly to complex initiatives.
Job Description:
Direct/Manage/Supervise the analysis of organization issues and creation of organization requirements, providing practical systems solutions. Oversee the requirements gathering process and define acceptance criteria. Drive the standardization of tools, artifacts, and process documentation. Serve on internal teams to help improve processes and oversee large-scale projects whose implementation, issues, or requests are more complex. Ensure technical solutions are compliant with organization process and objectives. First-level manager. Manage the activities of supervisors and/or individual contributors. Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Broad knowledge of the field with demonstrated leadership skills.

Manage workload distribution of Technical Business analysts Serve on internal teams to help improve processes and oversee large scale projects whose implementation, issues, or requests are more complex. Ensure technical solutions are compliant with organization process and objectives Drive the standardization of tools, artifacts, and process documentation. Minimum Qualifications

Manager, Business Systems Analysis Management:
Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.
