Job Description

Senior Manager, FP&A - Herndon, VA Constellis United States, Virginia, Herndon May 19, 2026 - POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Manager, FP&A works closely with indirect departments senior management to increase Constellis' efficiency and profitability by assisting with the review and analysis of management operations. The Senior Manager is also responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the indirect pool structure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Interface with Senior Management from other support departments (G&A and Fringe) to provide financial analysis ensuring quality, timeliness, and accuracy Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the indirect pool structure Compile consolidated management financial statements, variance analysis, and work with Process Owners to understand results Develop integrated projections, reports, and presentations Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately Identify trends and related commentary in operations and performance measures Compile and develop reporting packages for key stakeholders (Quarterly Board Package, Executive Management, etc.) Prepare monthly, quarterly and other periodic reporting packages in MS PowerPoint Ad Hoc reporting and analysis Enter and maintain budgeted/forecasted information in the budgeting/forecasting tool Support the annual budget process and manage the inputs, outputs, and schedule with all the other departments Prepare all related analysis needed to support the forecasts and budgets Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business/Management or another related field CPA with Public Accounting firm experience required Seven or more years of experience in Government Contracting as a financial/business analyst or related capacity required Experience with DCAA compliance and indirect rate pool structures is required Thorough knowledge of GAAP, FAR, and CAS Supervisory experience required (Senior Manager will oversee a team of at least one personnel) Costpoint accounting system and Cognos TM1 reporting package strongly preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required Ability to prepare accurate reports and the ability to effectively present information to senior management to include quantitative and qualitative analysis Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized Must have high-level interpersonal skills and be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization Self-directed and highly-motivated, with the decisiveness and flexibility necessary to operate successfully in a changing, rapid-growth, and hands-on environment May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
