You will be the hub for scheduling, staff management, customer service, and administration to ensure a thriving environment. The manager is responsible for scheduling, enrollment, marketing, and financial tracking (billing). Key skills include high organization, and strong communication abilities. This role reports to the Studio Director.
Core Responsibilities Studio Operations:
Managing class schedules Handling all communication (phones, emails) Executing the annual program schedule for the academy and company (classes, camps, productions, competitions, etc.) Ensuring all studio programs are operating on schedule Maintaining accurate records
Student and Parent Relations:
Acting as the primary point of contact for parents and students Resolving concerns Providing a welcoming environment
Financials & Marketing:
Managing tuition billing Running campaigns to increase enrollment
Communications Management:
Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls Managing general emails Ensuring necessary signage is posted as needed
Operational Support:
Maintain lobby and dressing room cleanliness Keep stock room organized and clean Put stock (shoes, leotards, tights) away Help students find appropriate sizes for dancewear Other operational support as needed.
Productions & Shows:
Primary point person accountable for show days (annual recital, Nutcracker and other shows put on by
Sterling Ballet Academy and Company Required Skills and Qualifications Communication:
Excellent verbal and written skills for working with students, families and staff. Must work well with others and be an engaging member of the studio.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Mindbody studio software Must be internet savvy
Organization:
Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Customer Service:
Must possess a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and exceptional customer service skills
Availability:
Must be available weekday evenings from 4:15-7:30pm/8pm (daily) and Saturdays from 8:30-11:30am. During production and competition preparation periods, must be available from 8:30am-5pm on Saturdays. Responsible for closing the studio daily (15 minutes after the final class ends). Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed. This position includes tuition benefits if you have a dancer at the studio.
