Full Time Position Summary:
Serves as a mission-critical operational and coordination leader within the Global Orphan Care department. This role ensures that people, processes, and information are strategically aligned so the team can serve partners, donors, and vulnerable children with excellence and integrity. Functions as a connector, integrator, and steward of systems, enabling the GOC Team to lead, collaborate, and execute with clarity, accuracy, and consistency. This role translates vision into operational reality by managing workflows, documentation, logistics, communication, and follow-through across regions and functions. Primary Duties:
To be a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ to co-workers, clients and ministry partners Actively leads the team in a manner aligned with scripture including, but not limited to, praying for and with them, sharing scripture in daily activities and leadership, modeling the character of Jesus Christ in interactions with team and any external clients, partners, vendors, etc. Disciples employees for the benefit of our ministry partners and clients. Aligns team dynamics, internal & external processes, and final product of team's work with Biblical principles and with Lifeline's Core Values Operational Coordination & Systems Stewardship Coordinating the US GOC team's calendars and recurring meetings across regions. Preparing agendas, capturing meeting notes, documenting decisions, and tracking action items to completion. Maintaining organized, up-to-date documentation for partners, programs, training materials, travel, and meetings. Serving as a primary steward of GOC administrative systems (Teams, SharePoint, trackers, templates, workflows). Ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adoption of tools and processes across the GOC team. Communication & Information Flow Acting as a central coordination point for internal Global Orphan Care communication. Supporting clear, timely information flow between the Global Orphan Care department. Drafting, editing, and organizing internal and external communications, reports, and updates. Supporting partner- and donor-related documentation, reporting, and follow-up workflows. Ensuring accurate and timely information exchange across Lifeline Departments. Project, Program, & Logistics Support Coordinating international and domestic travel logistics, documentation, and scheduling. Supporting planning and execution of events, trainings, partner projects, summits, and conferences. Assisting with GOC's funding proposals, partner program tracking, and reporting requirements. Maintaining project trackers, timelines, and deliverables to support accountability and progress. Anticipating logistical needs and proactively resolving issues before they escalate. Administrative, Team, & Capacity Support Providing high-level administrative support that protects leadership capacity and focus. Supporting onboarding of new staff, facilitators, interns, and partners with clarity and consistency. Coordinating interns, volunteers, and short-term project support when applicable. Modeling Lifeline values through professionalism, discretion, initiative, and collaborative service. Assist International Adoption team with mail and wire transfers as needed. Accountable For Accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of Global Orphan Care administrative records and documentation. Reliable coordination of schedules, logistics, communication, and follow-through. Timely completion of assigned operational responsibilities and deliverables. Ongoing improvement and stewardship of administrative systems, workflows, and templates. Notifying leadership of risks, gaps, or inefficiencies. Foster good will within the ministry; emphasizing teamwork as a common goal to equip, network, and train the church to manifest the gospel to vulnerable children. May travel locally and internationally on a limited, as needed, basis. Other duties:
Assisting in agency-related events, including the annual staff retreat, the annual dinner, anniversary celebrations, across all Lifeline programs Maintains good relationships with co-workers, including solving all disputes in a Biblically prescribed fashion Represents the agency in a professional manner in and away from the Encourages and supports church engagement efforts, including live presence opportunities, adoption information meetings, and biblical teaching on caring for vulnerable children. If qualified by the state, conduct home studies, post placement/adoption reports or other related adoption services for families in your geographical area when necessary. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or member of the Executive team All roles at Lifeline are designed to function as a flexible, team-based position. While primary responsibilities are outlined, employees may be asked to support additional programs, service areas, or initiatives based on organizational needs, workload/caseload demands, and supervisor direction.
