Job Description

The Administrative Coordinator for Student Affairs provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Division of Student Affairs. This position serves as a central point of coordination for divisional initiatives, communications, and day-to-day functions, ensuring efficient operations and effective support of student-focused programs and services. This position operates in a professional office environment within the Division of Student Affairs and may require occasional evening or weekend hours to support events and initiatives. Provide high-level administrative support to divisional leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and correspondence. Coordinate divisional meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and track follow-up actions. Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and community partners. Assist in the planning and execution of divisional events, programs, and initiatives. Manage and maintain records, reports, and documentation for the division. Support budget tracking, purchasing, and financial processes in coordination with university policies. Facilitate communication across departments within Student Affairs to ensure alignment and efficiency. Assist with onboarding and support of student employees and graduate assistants as needed. Maintain divisional calendars, websites, and communication platforms. Support assessment, reporting, and data collection efforts for divisional initiatives.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a higher education or student affairs setting. Familiarity with budgeting, event planning, and project coordination. Experience working with diverse student populations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively. Customer service-oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting student success.
