Church Administrative Coordinator 29768 Huntsville Brownsferry Rd, Madison, AL 35756 $20,000 a year - Part-time $20,000 a year - Part-time Church Administrative Coordinator (a.k.a. The Person Who Keeps Us From Falling Apart) At Heritage Church, we're looking for more than someone who wants a job. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of a mission, a team, and a church family. This is a part-time role for someone who is organized, tech-savvy, detail-oriented, people-friendly, and able to "get stuff done" without needing constant supervision. Around here, things move fast. There are a lot of moving parts, a lot of details, and a lot of ministry happening at once. Your job is to help keep the church fueled and functioning so our pastors, volunteers, and ministry leaders can focus on the things only they can do. Or, to put it another way: you help keep the train on the tracks. You don't have to do everything yourself — but you do help make sure everything gets done. That includes organizing systems, coordinating communication, mobilizing volunteers, solving problems, managing details, and occasionally saving the pastors from drowning in sticky notes and unanswered emails. We have a great team and genuinely enjoy working together. We laugh a lot. We care deeply about the mission. And we need someone who can jump in and become part of the life of the church — not just clock in and clock out. What You'll Do Manage administrative details and church communications Coordinate schedules, events, and ministry logistics Organize systems and help improve efficiency Recruit and coordinate volunteers when needed Help support pastors and ministry leaders Keep projects moving forward and details from falling through the cracks Use technology confidently and learn new systems quickly Help the church operate with excellence, warmth, and clarity You Might Be a Great Fit If… You're highly organized and dependable You're good with computers and technology You notice details other people miss You can manage multiple things at once without panicking You enjoy helping people You take initiative instead of waiting to be told every step You care about the mission of the church You can lovingly handle chaos with grace and humor Details Part-time position $20K 4 weeks paid vacation annually Flexible, meaningful work with a supportive team Opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives and in the mission of the church This isn't just paperwork and calendars.
